About Daniel

I've loved video games for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a Christian home—by God’s grace alone—and was saved at a young age. Like many kids, I could have played games nonstop if my parents hadn’t wisely set limits. As I got older, I still enjoyed the games I grew up with, but I found myself craving something deeper, and more engaging for someone my age.

During my early teens, I discovered some games that challenged and excited me. But others, the more “mature” ones that truly matched my age and skill level—were off-limits. And for good reason. I remember being around 14 or 15, eagerly showing my parents some games I wanted to play, only to have them say no because of the content. At the time, I was frustrated—saying all the typical things like “all my friends are playing it” or “it’s not that bad.” But looking back, they were absolutely right. I wasn’t ready, and I’m deeply thankful they stood their ground.

Life moved on. I worked at a pet store. I went to college and studied mechanical engineering and saw I had a God given talent for technical work. I landed a full-time job at a great company. As I progressed in my career, I kept praying and wondering how I could use the skills God had given me to serve His Kingdom. I didn’t have a clear answer—but I kept my eyes open.

During this time, video games never stopped being my favorite hobby. It was about ten years after those frustrating conversations with my parents, all of this finally clicked for me: why not create high-quality, deeply engaging games designed for a mature minded audience—without the junk? Games that are mature in theme, challenge, and design, but still aligned with my values. That moment united three of the biggest parts of my life: my faith, my favorite hobby, and the technical skills God has equipped me with.

So I stepped out. I quit my job and began this journey. I don’t know exactly where the Lord will lead, but I’m so excited to find out.
