About Us

What is up with our name?

Steadfast, an uncommon, and arguably archaic word. A very strange choice for a video game company. But out of all the words, steadfast represented our goals with a potency that couldn't be found elsewhere. Steadfast can mean "firmly fixed in place", "not subject to change", or "firm in belief, determination, or adherence." It very powerfully communicates stability and resilience.

But that's not all, it is also part of the translation of a Hebrew word in the Bible to describe God's "steadfast love" for His people. Imagine love that can be described by all of the definitions we just discussed, truly mind blowing! The great thing is, you don't have to imagine, it is available to anyone who puts their faith in Jesus Christ. Our goal as a studio is to rely on and share the "steadfast love" of God through His gift of video games, and remain steadfast in that conviction regardless of the whims of society or business. What is up with our logo?

The crown, a symbol of a defunct political system, reeling from centuries of revolutions across much of the world, now the symbol chosen to represent a video game company. While there are no kings or queens in Studio Steadfast, this crown has been used for a very intentional reason. It represents

1. Our mission of claiming territory for the kingdom of God one game at a time.

2. Our goal to reach gamers who are unaware of the wonders and beauty of our savior Jesus.

3. Our confidence in the ultimate victory of Christ in every category.

It is this citizenship to the kingdom not of this world that drives us to push forward into this space and assault the gates of hell in the video game industry. It may not be us who makes it, God's plan and timing for His kingdom is perfect. But I can confidently say it is only a matter of time before the Lord's complete and resounding victory.
